Betty Caroline Orsban

Betty Caroline Orsban, 93, of Lexington, a former Scioto County resident, died Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at her residence.

She was born February 3, 1932 in Zanesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Olis R. and Marguerite Dunn Tom. Betty was a retired head of housekeeping for the former Holiday Inn at Rosemount, with 23 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Orsban Sr., on March 23, 1999; a daughter, Melody J. Terrell; a son, Robert E. Orsban Jr., a brother, Joe Tom; and a sister, Louise Dunn.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Donna (Steve) Burke of Minford; her grandchildren, Lewis McCloud Jr. of Lexington, Kentucky, Edith (James) Callahan of Lexington, Kentucky, and Daniel (Holly) Terrell of Georgetown, Kentucky; her great-grandchildren, Layla Callahan, Carter Terrell, and Kaiden Terrell; and her sister, Jean (Bob) Phillips of Lancaster.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 10, 2025 at the McKinley Funeral Home, with Mike Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the services on Monday at the funeral home.
