Patricia Sue Horn

Patricia Sue Horn, 76, of Russell, KY, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

She was born May 1, 1949 in Warren, OH, a daughter of the late Martin and Birdie Caudill Truesdell.

Patty was a retired elementary school teacher from Northwest Local School District, a 1967 Oak Hill High School graduate, and received her Bachelor of Science in Library Sciences from Morehead State University. Patty was admired for her strong, resilient, mischievous personality and her overwhelming love for her family, grandkids, and Farmtown Farms.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Horn, January 31, 2024; her son, Benjamin Horn; two brothers, Earl Hanshaw and Jimmy Truesdell; and one sister, Helen Truesdell.

Patty is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Andrew) White of Clarksville, OH, and Rachel (Jerry) Tilsley of Russell, KY; four grandchildren, Madison (Jaedon) Mustain, Kathryn Tilsley, Michaela Tilsley, and Axel James Horn-White; one sister, Mary Darling of Ashland, KY; and two special nieces.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, September 8, 2025 in Scioto Burial Park in McDermott, with Justin Meier and Doug Newell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
