Ann Stambaugh

Minnie Ann Stambaugh, 88, of Portsmouth, formerly of Lucasville, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at her home at Hillview Retirement Center.

She was born January 17, 1937 in Lucasville, a daughter of the late Ebert and Nannie Everman Rupert.

Ann was a retired Postal Clerk for the United States Postal Service, a member of Rubyville Community Church, and a 1955 Valley High School graduate.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, James and Christopher Rupert; and five sisters, Mary Jean Stewart, Harriett Gibson, Helen Poock, Sarah Coburn, and Carla Blevins.

Ann is survived by her children, Kathy (Russ) Vance of Powell, TN and Charles “Ed” (Kathi) Stambaugh of Peebles; five grandchildren, Christopher Stewart, Kara Knittle, Adam Stewart, Jessie Vogler, and Emily Ervin; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Nancy Campbell of Ft. Pierce, FL.

Private graveside services will be conducted in Lucasville Cemetery with Gary Brown officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
