Jerry Allen Creech, Sr.

Jerry Allen Creech Sr., 77, of Russells Point, Ohio, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born September 17, 1947 in Ironton, a son of the late Carroll Leo Creech and Roberta Hitchcock Creech. He was a 1965 Eastern High School graduate and former construction worker and trucker, having retired from Veach Trucking in 2009. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers, James “Jim” Creech and Larry Creech.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Radabaugh Hopkins Creech, who he married on January 21, 2015; two sons, Jerry (Felicia) Creech II of Lucasville, and Richard “Ricky” (Amy) Caves II of Ironton; two daughters, Rhonda (Randy) Bailey of West Mansfield, and Penny Kessler of Alger; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his cat, Smokey Joe.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025, with Lowell King officiating. Burial will follow in the Radabaugh-Hannah Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:30 pm until the service hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
