Randy Lee Moritz

Randy Lee Moritz, 76, of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, passed away on May 4, 2025. Born on November 11, 1948, in Portsmouth, Ohio, Randy was a cherished brother, uncle, and friend, known for his kindness, humor, and positive outlook on life.

 

Randy worked at Food City in Sevierville, where he was a familiar and friendly face to customers and coworkers alike. Outside of work, he enjoyed visiting flea markets and had a special place in his heart for Miniature Pinschers. His signature farewell, “Have a blessed day and a better day tomorrow,” was a testament to his caring nature.

 

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Donald Edward Moritz, and his mother, Betty Jean Perkins Moritz. He is survived by his daughter Misti Reed Bonacci, brothers, David (Denise) Moritz and Jon (Angel) Moritz; his sister, Cheri; nephews Justin, Jonathan, Bon Scott; and nieces Kristen, Blaise, Jaisa, and Destiny.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rawlings Funeral Home, 212 Court Avenue, Sevierville, Tennessee. rawlingsfuneralhome.com

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rawlings Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses or donation can be sent to the Sevier County animal shelter.
