Lisa Ann Mullins Tacket

It is with great sadness that the family of Lisa Ann Mullins Tackett announces her passing, Sunday morning, March 9, 2025, at the age of 56.

Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on May 6, 1968, she proudly made her home and lived her entire life in Lucasville, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her mother, Delores Ruth Meadors Mullins, and by her father, Emery “Moon” Mullins.

Lisa has two daughters and a son, Tiffany Tackett, Leigh Spencer (Megan), and Thayden Spencer (Alicia); two sisters and a brother, Ruth Kruse (Rod), Donna Daniel, and James Mullins (Brenda); and four grandchildren, Austen Stevens, Brantlee and Canzas Whitaker, and Delylah Blanton.

Lisa was a “stay at home mom” who was always there for her children, grandchildren, and to many other children who needed a mom. She cherished the time they spent together and treasured the memories they built. Her proudest, most valued moments in life came from the children.

Lisa found great joy in preparing meals and had a knack for finding the perfect gifts for celebrating birthdays, family get-togethers, anniversaries, and her favorite holiday – Christmas.

Lisa’s family and her friends lovingly remember her, and she will live in their hearts forever.

The family thanks everyone for their thoughts and their prayers.

For friends and loved ones to honor and celebrate Lisa’s life, a “scattering ceremony” releasing her ashes, and a celebration of life memorial will be held at a later date, with details announced. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
