James Riley Wolfe III
James Riley Wolfe III, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at KDMC Ashland.
He was born July 15, 1946 in McDermott, a son of the late James Riley Wolfe II and Emma Brown Dinkler Wolfe.
Jim was a retired Foreman for the Queen City Railroad and forklift operator for Mills Pride. He loved to fish, spend time with family and his canine companion, Princess Leia whom he spoiled.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bill Wolfe; and two sisters, June Price and Wanda Fuller.
Jim is survived by his wife, Dorthy Salyers Wolfe, whom he married May 1, 1970 in Lucasville; two sons, Jack (Teresa) Wolfe of Lawrenceburg, KY, and Mark Wolfe of McDermott; two daughters, Dianna Wolfe of McDermott and Jennifer (Ricky) Wolford of McDermott; five grandchildren, Jacob (Antonia) Wolfe of West Portsmouth, Andrew and Nick Eichenlaub, Austin Castle, all of McDermott; and Michael Smith of Sandusky, OH; and one sister, Sharon Mosley of Portsmouth.
At Jim’s request, there will be no services at this time, with a Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville
