Sandra Dee “Sandy” Montgomery

Sandra Dee “Sandy” Montgomery, 63, of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Mercy Fairfield Hospital.

She was born December 22, 1961 in Rushville, Indiana, a daughter of Judy Puckett Whitinger of McDermott and the late James Whitinger. Sandy graduated from Northwest High School & Scioto County Joint Vocational School in 1980 and attended Marshall Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Perry Keith Montgomery, who she married on July 28, 1984 in Lucasville; her sons, Nathon (Brooke) Montgomery of Hillsboro and Zachary (Andrea) Montgomery of Winnabow, North Carolina; her grandchildren Abby, Arayla, Raiden, Larkin, Hanlee, Valor, Tatum, Lennox, and Thelo; her brother, Scott Whitinger of McDermott; and her sister Brenda (Buck) Parker of Latham.

Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the McKinley Funeral Home, with Gary Brown and Tom Stoop officiating. Burial will follow in Big Run Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until the services.
