Linda Lou Jordan

Linda Lou Jordan, 81, of Lucasville, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024, at SOMC Hospice.

She was born April 27, 1943 in Jackson, a daughter of the late James R. and Bernice V. Landrum Sturgill. Linda was a 1961 Jackson High School graduate. She married to John William Jordan, who preceded her in death May 18, 1991.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Jordan; and her siblings, James R. (Beverly) Sturgill Jr., Paul A. (Viola) Sturgill, Walter B. Sturgill, Larry J. (Kathy) Sturgill, Kandace E. Sturgill, Randy L. Sturgill, E. Charles Sturgill (aka David Charles Tolbert – wife Barbara), and Vicki Marlene (Tom) Berry.

Linda is survived by her children, Johnny (Lori) Jordan of Lucasville, Mark Jordan of Lucasville, Jeffrey Jordan of Ironton, and Joni Jordan of Boca Raton, Florida; her grandchildren, Matthew (wife Samantha), Brandon (US Marine Corps; wife Myreena), Brooke, Brice, Naysa, Chris (US Air Force), Heather (US Navy), Megan, and Chayse; and her great-grandchildren, Grayson, Hadley, Jocelyn, Crew, and Haylen.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, with burial at the convenience of the family in Rushtown Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
