Carl Wise, Jr.

Carl Wise Jr., 86, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at his residence.

He was born July 6, 1938 in Rushtown, a son of the late Carl Everett Wise Sr. and Eva Mae Waugaman Wise. He was a retired welder and a 57-year member of the Masonic Lodge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Stephanie; five brothers, Harvey, Paul, Edward, Tommy, and Eugene Wise; and three sisters, Rosemary Jewett, Thelma Webb, Katherine Hayes.

He is survived by his wife, Monna Kay Vance Wise, who he married October 13, 1962 in Vanceburg, Kentucky, and many nieces and nephews.

Masonic services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville by Lucasville Lodge #465, followed by the funeral, with George Vastine officiating. Burial will follow in Rushtown Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 am Thursday until the services.
