Stephen Douglas Hale, III

Stephen Douglas Hale, III, 74 of Otway passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.  He was born on December 3, 1949 in Portsmouth to the late Stephen Douglas Hale, Jr and Josephine Krause Hale.  On January 10, 1970 he was united in marriage to Rebecca Jean Ralstin Hale of Otway.  In addition to his wife Rebecca, Stephen is also survived by his children; Matthew Hale of Seymour, Tennessee, Stephen (Stephanie) Hale, IV of Oak Island, North Carolina and Joshua (Kimberly) Hale of West Portsmouth; grandchildren, Aden Hale, Paden Blanchard and Alyssa Pipkins; great grandchildren, Logan Blanchard, Rylan Blanchard, Sophia Pipkins and Ronin Pipkins.  In addition to his parents, Stephen is preceded in death by his brothers; Allen Hale and Jim Hale.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Gideon officiating.
