Patricia Bertram

Patricia Bertram, 81, of Portsmouth, died Monday, June 24, 2024 at Springfield Regional Medical Center in Springfield, Ohio. She was born, October 15, 1942 in South Shore, Kentucky, to the late James and Clara (Thomas) Rodgers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, David and Mark Ridout, three brothers, Tom, Donald, and Bill Rodgers, two grandsons, Anthony and Kevin Bertram, a granddaughter, Jessica Lavey, and two great-grandsons, Austin Boggs and Jordan Sharpe.

Surviving Patricia are her three children, Vicki Lavey (Bill), Jerry Bertram, and Rebecca Bertram, a brother, Chuck Rodgers, and a sister, Betty Day.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren that she adored. Her grandchildren include, Deea Hesson (Kevin), Crystal Oppy (James), Bobby Boggs (Dionne), Joshwa Leslie (Jessica), Myranda Franklin, Heather Haskins, Jerry Bertram III, Michael Bertram, and Valerie Lavey Sharp, her great-grandchildren, Hevin, Godgrick, and Gunner Bertram, Sierra Sharpe, Daniel Harr (Krystal), Allyssa Travis (Dustin), Trey Oppy, Eion Boggs, Noah and Isaiah Leslie, Adrian and Leum Franklin, Carly and Johnny Haskin, Azelinn Bertram, and Landon Bentley, and her great-great grandchildren, Daniel Harr II, Caden Harr, Issac Harr, Jessen Gilbert Jr., and Kamren and Kenzie Travis, along with many adoptive grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday July 1, 2024 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Pastor Mike Gifford officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. A visitation for friends and family will be on Monday at the funeral home, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M.
