Donna June Day

Donna June Day, 89, of McDermott, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 at her home. She was born January 18, 1935 in Scioto County, Ohio to the late Alvin Enos Taylor and Ethel Viola Weaver Taylor. Surviving are her children, Billie Jo (James) Smith of Lucasville, Ohio and Michael David (Renee) Wooten of McDermott, Ohio; grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Jennifer Ayers, Gina Harris and Chad Wooten; 4 great- grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and step-children, Randy, Cheryl, Billy, Lisa and Daniel . In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Billy Ray Wooten in 1999 and Roger Day in 2022; and her siblings, Carl, Robert, Gladys, Ralph and Judy.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Otway Christian Union Church with Pastor Brian Justice officiating. Burial will follow in Euton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Services in care of Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.
