Fredrick Paul Lewis

Fredrick Paul Lewis, 60, of McDermott, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at his residence.

He was born July 13, 1963 in Portsmouth, a son of Wilma Jean Hodge Lewis of McDermott and the late Franklin Lewis Sr.

Fred was retired from the US Army, a 1981 Northwest High School graduate, and of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by brothers, Timothy Joe Lewis of Sciotoville, Jim Lewis and Franklin Lewis both of Lucasville; three sisters, Pamela Sue Whissen, Betty Campbell, and Melissa Lewis, all of McDermott; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon, Friday, August 4, 2023 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Tim Throckmorton officiating. Burial will follow in Cooper cemetery where military graveside rites will be performed by the William Baker and James F. Irwin Posts of the American Legion. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and an hour prior to the funeral Friday.
