William “Bill” Samuel Wasson

William “Bill” Samuel Wasson, 84, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Traditions of Bristol Village with his family by his bedside.  He was born October 27, 1938 in Union City, Indiana to the late Ralph and Daisie Stump Wasson.  On September 3, 1994 he was united in marriage to Donna Lois Donohoe who survives.  Also left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Lee Ann (Jamison Conley) Nolan; and two grandchildren, Jocelyn and Evan Nolan.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John Richard Wasson; and a brother-in-law, F. Eldon Donohoe.

Bill graduated from Wayne Township High School in Union City in 1957.  He worked as a clerk at NCR for over a decade.  He then became an owner-operator truck driver working for various companies including Mayflower and White Line.

A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
