Joseph Weeks
Joseph Weeks, 81, of West Portsmouth, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at SOMC Hospice.
He was born April 28, 1942 in Harrison Township, Scioto County, Ohio, a son of the late Carl and Merzie Blanton Weeks.
Joe was a retired landscaper for Theodore Upton and of the Baptist Faith.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Loraine Johnson Weeks, July 17, 2009; one daughter, Sharon Justice; one son, David Weeks; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Joe is survived by two daughters, Connie Weeks (Elliott Dalton)of Lucasville and Jeanette Jones of West Portsmouth; one son, Teddie (Denise) Weeks of Lucasville; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 19 great great-grandchildren; and one brother, Russell Weeks of Stout.
Visitation will be held from noon till 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville. Graveside services will follow in Scioto Burial Park following visitation with Rob Casey officiating.
