Brenda Kaye Mills

Brenda Kaye Mills, 73, of Lucasville, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at her residence.

She was born August 24, 1949 in Lucasville, a daughter of the late William and Ethel Gee Nance.

Brenda was a retired Nursing Assistant at Pleasant Hill Manor of Piketon, a member of Scioto Baptist Church, and a 1968 Piketon High School graduate.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Dawn Mills; and a sister, Betty Roark.

Brenda is survived by two sons, Donald Mills (Melissa) , and Michael Mills both of Lucasville; one daughter, Deanna Taylor of Lucasville; three grandchildren, Ashley (Nick) Wilson, Savannah (Tim) Howard, and Nichole (Justin) Mills; two great-grandchildren, Harper and Riley, whom she adored; and two sisters, Janet Meredith of Lockbourne and Sandra Conley of Rensselaer, Indiana.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon, Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the Scioto Baptist Church with Gary Brown and Elmer Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Scioto Cemetery on Cockrell’s Run. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville and an hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.
