Edna Evelyn Hayslip

Edna Evelyn Hayslip, 101, died Sunday, February 26, 2023, at SOMC Hospice Center.  Born September 28, 1921 in Portsmouth, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Lourilla Parks Hayslip, and began her working career at the former Selby Shoe Co. and retired from Wil-Car sundry division.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Carl and William Hayslip; three sisters, Eunice Roush, Beulah James and Alma Young.

Surviving are several nephews, including Kenny (Debbie) Hayslip and Tom Young.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Scioto Burial Park.  Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.
