Carl F. Forbes

Carl F. Forbes, 91, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away Feb. 17, 2023 in the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Ashland, Kentucky, July 1, 1931, a son of the late Charles H. Forbes and Bertha Campbell Forbes. Carl was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a long time employee of Bihl Office Supply as a repair technician.

Preceded in death besides his parents are on brother, Charles Forbes Jr.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Janet Tarr Forbes, nieces, Gail Howerton of South Shore, Jeanie Prince of Wheeling, West Virginia, Lisa Cade of Lexington and a special cousin, Diana Brown of South Shore and many cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with Rev. Acy Gibson, officiating. Burial will follow in the MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. till the service hour at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
