Michael Kevin Mills

Michael Kevin Mills, 53, of Lucasville, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Adena Pike Medical Center in Waverly.

He was born December 31, 1971, in Portsmouth, a son of the late Donald and Brenda Nance Mills. Mike was a 1991 Piketon High School graduate and an Emergency Medical Technician with Cares EMS. In addition, he was an avid dog lover.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Angela Mills.

Mike is survived by his brother, Donald (Melissa) Mills of Lucasville; a sister, Deanna Taylor of Lucasville; three nieces, Ashley (Nick) Wilson, Savannah (Tim) Howard, and Nicole (Justin Bond) Mills; and many extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank Doug Avery and his work family at Cares EMS for their support and friendship.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Jasper Elementary School cafeteria. Friends are invited to share stories about Mike at his memorial. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Scioto Cemetery on Cockrell’s Run Road. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home.
