Allison Jane King-Reed

Allison Jane King-Reed, 34, of West Portsmouth, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

     She was born December 7, 1990 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Steve and Deborah Carver Martin of Lucasville. Allison was a 2009 graduate of Northwest High School and Scioto County Career Technical Center and worked 17 years as a cosmetologist.

     Allison was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Reed on March 8, 2021; and her grandparents, Paul & Betty Carver.

     In addition to her mother and father, she is survived by her children, Adison Jane Hope Stephens, Tyleigh Ray Stephens, and Elliana Faith Reed, all of West Portsmouth; her brother, Josh (Ali) King of Portsmouth; her uncle, Steven (Kelly) Carver; her mother- and father-in-law, Kevin and Mary Andrews; her sister-in-law, Jamie Reed; her brother-in-law, Jacob Andrews; her niece, Braelynn King; her nephew, Andrew Berndt; and her Mamie. In addition, she is survived by many special cousins and friends who held a cherished place in her heart.

     She loved hard, and she loved making everyone feel beautiful.

     Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Scioto Burial Park, with Bud Mefford officiating. Friends may call on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
