Wanda Josephine Beesler Luckett

Wanda Josephine Beesler Luckett, 95, of Centreville passed away peacefully on Saturday July
6, 2024. She was born April 20, 1929 in Portsmouth, Ohio. She moved to Fairfax, Virginia
where she raised her family and worked for Giant Food for 30 years. She loved spending time
with friends and family, watching baseball, and was a long-time member of Fairfax Community
Church.
She is preceded in death by son Terry Lee and husband Forrest “Lucky” Luckett. She is
survived by sons Bob (Kelley) Luckett, Don (Betsy) Luckett, Rick (Carol) Luckett, Jim (Christine)
Luckett; grandchildren Heather (Chris) Blelloch, Jaimi Luckett, Chrystn (Tony) Sims, Steven
(Erica) Luckett, Andy (Kelli) Luckett, Tony (Kristi) Luckett, Julie Shore, Amy Luckett, Chris
Luckett, Samantha (Alex) Pastella, Katie Gonzalez, and Hayley (Aaron) Towne; 20 great
grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on August 10, 2024 from 10AM – 11AM with a Celebration of Life service
at 11AM. There will be a short graveside service immediately following, at Lucasville
Cemetery on Beechwood Ave. Wanda’s visitation and service will be held at McKinley Funeral
