Richard Throckmorton Taylor

Richard Throckmorton Taylor, 97, of Lucasville, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 at his residence.

He was born June 26, 1926 in Weirton, West Virginia, son of the late Charles and Phoebe Throckmorton Taylor.

Richard was a World War II Navy veteran. He was also a retired pipefitter & millwright from Empire Detroit Steel in New Boston and a member of the Lucasville Masonic Lodge.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty, on April 13, 2024.

Richard is survived by his sons, Rick Taylor of Lucasville; Steven Taylor, of South Carolina; and Zane Taylor of Lucasville.

The family would like to thank Hospice and the Visiting Angels for the care he received.

At his request, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
