Debra K. “Debbie” Johnson

Debra K. “Debbie” Johnson, 63, of Minford, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Monday morning, October 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving children.

A lifelong resident of the Minford area, Debbie was truly larger than life. She had an adventurous spirit, an unmatched work ethic, and a personality that was impossible to forget. She loved traveling, trying new things, and making the most of every opportunity. Never one to sit still, Debbie worked hard, enjoyed life, and was always ready for her next adventure. Whether traveling somewhere new or enjoying a great margarita and dinner at a Mexican restaurant, she knew how to have a wonderful time. She spoke her mind, stood her ground, and was unapologetically herself. Her strong will, big heart, and unforgettable personality made her truly one of a kind.

Above all, Debbie was a devoted mother and grandmother. To her children, she was everything-their greatest supporter, their constant source of strength, and the most remarkable woman they had ever known. Her love was unwavering, her strength extraordinary, and the place she held in their lives immeasurable. The heartbreak of losing her is beyond words, but the love they have for her will remain forever.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Nathan) Napier of Minford, Ohio, and her son, Travis (Erin) Johnson of Irwin, Pennsylvania; her beloved grandchildren, Blake Duzan and Caden Shope; and her bonus grandchildren, Isaac Napier, Lyla Napier, Mark Napier, and Elliot Napier, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

She is also survived by her siblings, Ray Allen, Clarence “Dale” (Sharon) Allen, Jean (Jim) Ginn, and Connie (David) Stamper; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special cousin and best friend, Sheila Samson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Marie Allen; her brother, David Allen; and her nephew, Clarence Dakota Young Allen.

Debbie lived life to the fullest, loved with her whole heart, and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held November 1, 2026, 12:00Noon to 4:00 PM, at The River House, 6906 East Front Street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Debbie’s honor.
