Arlie Blevins
Arlie Lawson Blevins, 91, of Lucasville, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at his residence, surrounded by his family.
He was born September 12, 1934 in Franklin Furnace, a son of the late Arbie and Elvie Conley Blevins. Arlie was a 1952 Clay High School graduate and retired from Pepsi after working there 42 years. His favorite hobby was playing the guitar and singing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Roni Marie Blevins; and a sister, Hazel Fultz.
Arlie is survived by his wife, Norene Anderson Blevins, who he married on September 22, 1956 in Rosemount; a daughter, Kerry Adkins of Lucasville; two sons, Terry Blevins of Rarden and Barry (Michelle) Blevins of Milford; two brothers, Cecil Blevins of Eden Park and David Blevins of Tennessee; four sisters, Mackie Hawk of Lucasville, Elsie Marcum of Tennessee, Evelyn Hawk of Georgia, and Donna Henson of New Boston; six grandchildren, Tonya Billiter, Tera White, Alicia Jarvis, Derek Adkins, Tyler Adkins, and Zoe Messer; and many great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the McKinley Funeral Home, with Daron Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Family Cemetery on Kinstler Road. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the services on Saturday at the funeral home.
