Marilyn Sue Boyles

Marilyn Sue Boyles, 74, of Piketon, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Rocky Fork State Park in Hillsboro, Ohio.  She was born on September 28, 1949 in Byer, Ohio, daughter of the late Harry Charles Manring and Elsie Mae Hill Manring. On July 1, 1995, she was united in marriage to Tim Boyles who survives.  Also surviving are her daughters,  Mia (Scott) Dunn of Latham, Ohio and Cecily (Jason) Hartley of Piketon; grandchildren, Kaitlin (Brandon) Colley of Rosemount, Ohio, Mackenzie (Lana) Dunn of Texas, Rachel Dunn of Rosemount, Donlee (Karl) VanGinneken of Florida, Aiden Beekman of Piketon, Isaac Beekman of Piketon, Keira (Zach) Watts of Ellenboro, North Carolina, Shaina (John) Taylor of Piketon, Mason Hartley of Piketon and Kaylee Hartley of South Shore, Kentucky; great grandchildren, Jackson Cooper, Zoey Colley, Quinn Knoblock, Myla Knoblock, Grayson James Taylor, Levi James Watts and twin baby boys on the way; a sister, Nancy Schell of Springfield, Ohio and a brother, Harry Charles (Judy) Manring II of Hamden, Ohio.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Russell Manring and a sister, Jean Jones.

Marilyn was a nurse and she attended Dailyville Freewill Baptist Church.  She loved her family and enjoyed spending time at Rocky Fork State Park camping.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Dailyville Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Pete Dunn officiating.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from noon until the time of the service.

Services are in the care of Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
