Helen Louise (Nee Horsley) Williams Lynd

Helen Louise (Nee Horsley) Williams Lynd, 91 years old, longtime Scioto County resident, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 31, 2023. Helen was a graduate of Washington High School, member of Carey’s Run Church of Christ, Over 55 Club of Nile Township, and enjoyed playing Canasta with her friends.

 

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Otha and Pauline (Nee Stout) Horsley, first husband Herbert B. Williams, second husband Warren G. Lynd, and two brothers Kenneth and Donald Horsley.

 

She is survived by one son and daughter in law, David and Donna Williams of Stout, one daughter, Paula Bauer of Portsmouth, three grandsons and two granddaughter in laws: Bryson and Courtney Williams, Brock and Hali Williams and Gregory Bauer; and five great grandchildren: Lane, Brynn, Saylor, Asher and Ryatt Williams.

 

Private Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial in McKendree Cemetery in Nile Township.
