Roscoe Smith Jr.

Roscoe Smith Jr., 71 of West Portsmouth, died Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at his home. He was born May 8, 1952 in Portsmouth to the late Roscoe and Bonnie Carr Smith Sr.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Shelby Jean Gilcrease, Elaine Bailey and Shirley Cortez.

Roscoe is survived by 2 daughters: Jennifer Henderson and Amber Smith, a brother Bill Perkins, 4 sisters: Donna Holcomb, Julia Smith, Laoma Spradlin and Mary McClasky, 5 grandchildren: Joey, Brianna, Keaton, Cooper and Carter, along with 3 great grandchildren: Gage, Adaiya and Brice and a special friend Dale Hornikel.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 Saturday August 12, 2023 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home n West Portsmouth. Family and friends will gather starting at 11:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
