Timothy Paul Whitley II

Timothy Paul Whitley II, 52, of Wheelersburg passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at his home.  He was born in San Jose, California on November 5, 1970, to Timothy Paul Whitley Sr. and Carolyn Marie (Wells) Butcher.  Timothy is a graduate of Wheelersburg High School and Hocking College.  He is of the Christian faith. Timothy loved lifting weights,  watching UFC fighting, Star Wars, playing video games and listening to old country music.  Timothy was a huge gun enthusiast and an American Patriot. He loved spending time with family, especially his children, and going on family outings.  He was an avid Notre Dame Fighting Irish Fan.

Timothy is survived by his parents, three sons; Elijah Whitley, Gabriel Whitley, and Quin Whitley all of Wheelersburg; a daughter, Josi Reese Whitley and boyfriend Aizik of Wheelersburg; a brother, Daniel Whitley of Wheelersburg; a sister, Rachelle Whitley of New Boston; nieces and nephews, Brooke, Zachary, Blake, Kenz, Lexi, Coby, and one great-nephew Payton; uncles, Dale Whitley and wife Karen, and Johnny Wells and wife Laverna; cousins, Josh Sarah, and Josiah; close friends, Butch Bowling and Chase Porter; and his dogs, which he dearly loved, Ted, Athena, and Groot. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orlea and Betty Whitley.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (WOLFE – NELSON CHAPEL) in Sciotoville with Daniel Whitley officiating.  Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Bennett Cemetery in Minford.
