Evelyn Lea Fraley
Evelyn Lea Fraley, 81, of Lucasville passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at SOMC Hospice.
She was born June 21, 1941 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Manford and Eva Adkins Murray.
Evelyn was a retired Home Health Aide from Scioto Memorial Hospital, also worked at Williams Shoe Factory, and was a 1959 Valley High School graduate.
She was a member of the Center Street Church in Lucasville and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching red birds and hummingbirds.
Evelyn was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Fraley, May 5, 2019; three brothers, Arthur, Donald, and James Murray; and four sisters, Thelma Wagner, Helen Johnson, JoAnn Lewis Ayers, and Janice Claycomb.
She is survived by her son, Harold Fraley of Waverly; her daughter, Misti (Heath) Cisco of Piketon; three grandchildren, Aubree Fraley, Olivia Cisco, and Hadlee Cisco; and several loving nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Kammler, Jeff Ramey, Kevin MacDonald, and the staff at SOMC Hospice for their excellent care of our mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 p.m Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the Center Street Church in Lucasville with Phil Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Lucasville Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
