Wanda Carol Dodds, 80, passed away peacefully, on Monday, December 12, 2022, surrounded by her family in Randall Residence at Wheelersburg.  Born on September 4, 1942 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Bonnie Greene Monroe.

Wanda was on several bowling teams, enjoyed her card club for over 50 years and was a member of the Eagles.  She loved to dance, working in her yard and taking care of others.  But most importantly she loved and adored her grandbabies.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Jerry L. Dodds, Sr., a precious son, Chuck Dodds, and brothers, Walt and Carlos Monroe.

Surviving are a son, Jerry (Tammi) Dodds, Jr. of Wheelersburg; two daughters, Tami (Albert) Harville and Keli (Rob) Blake, all of Cincinnati; her loyal companion, Stephen Schiller of Wheelersburg; brothers, Charles (Karen) Monroe of Grove City, Richard (Yong) Monroe of Indianapolis and Eddie Monroe of Sciotoville; sisters, Mary (Ron) Martin of Wheelersburg, Shirley Belcher of Minford, Beverly (Roy) Mullins of Grove City and Cheryl (Tim) Feeman of Wheelersburg; a sister-in-law, Barbara Maynard of Wheelersburg; seven grandchildren, Liz (James) Legg, Carly Blake, Sydney Blake, Jonah Harville, Chad (Britney) Schwalbach,  Brittany (Eric) Porter and Chase (Cara) Schwalbach; and eight great grandchildren, Dylan, Carter, Priceton, Wyatt, Linley, Raelyn, Camryn and Jace.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16th, at the BRANT FUNERAL SERVICE IN SCIOTOVILLE with Steve Phipps officiating.  Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
