Undercover Drug Operation

After a lengthy investigation, Detectives with the F.A.D.E. Drug Task Force made an additional crystal methamphetamine drug trafficking arrest in Russell, KY.  On June 26th, 2019 F.A.D.E. Detectives purchased crystal methamphetamine in an apartment located at 415 Etna Street. A warrant was then executed in the apartment by F.A.D.E Detectives,the Russell Police Department, and Raceland Police Departments K-9 Units.

Gary Lee HICKS of Ironton, Ohio was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance Greater than 2 Grams of Methamphetamine.

 

F.A.D.E. Drug Task Force operates in Carter and Greenup Counties and is comprised of officers from the Olive Hill Police Department, Russell Police Department, Raceland Police Department, and the Carter County Sheriff’s Office.
