Raymond Alexander Norwood, III

Raymond Alexander Norwood, III, 77 of Columbus, Ohio passed away at his residence on Monday June 17, 2019. He was born March 11, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio son of the late Raymond Alexander Norwood II and June Norwood. On February 18, 1971 he was united in marriage to Deborah Kay Estep Norwood who preceded him in death on April 6, 2007. Surviving are two sons, Raymond A Norwood, IV and Laurie of Columbus and David W. Norwood and wife Linda of Franklin Furnace, Ohio; two daughters, Theresa A Weaver of Columbus and Sherie L Kegler and husband David of Columbus; eight grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Raymond was a former Police Sargent with the Columbus City Police Department and retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Family will receive friends at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M  On Tuesday, friends and family may pay their final respects at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
