Undercover Drug Investigation & Arrest
Detectives with the F.A.D.E. Drug Task Force completed a crystal methamphetamine drug trafficking investigation in Russell, Kentucky. Multiple undercover drug purchases were made by F.A.D.E. Detectives during the course of the investigation. F.A.D.E. detectives obtained multiple warrants for Garri CAREY who resides at 201 ½ Etna Street in Russell, KY. Detectives from the F.A.D.E. Task Force and officers from the Russell Police Department executed the warrants on Garri CAREY for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.
On 05/23/2019 Garri CAREY was convicted and sentenced in Greenup Circuit Court.
F.A.D.E. Drug Task Force operates in Carter and Greenup Counties and is comprised of officers from the Olive Hill Police Department, Russell Police Department, Raceland Police Department, and the Carter County Sheriff’s Office.
