Undercover drug operation

On September 18, 2018 Detectives with the F.A.D.E Drug Task Force the Olive Hill Police Department and the Carter County Sheriffs Office executed a search warrant at the home of Aaron Sturgill located in the Mills Branch area in Olive Hill, Kentucky. A number of subjects were arrested and Detectives seized multiple items along with one handgun. Arrested: Jeff Gilbert for Fleeing and evading warrants and Kosha Wagner for Failure to Appear F.A.D.E Detectives continue to investigate and additional charges are pending. Detectives encourage the public to contact them anonymously at 606-836-0442 about any illegal drug activity in Carter and Greenup Counties. F.A.D.E Drug Task Force operates in Carter and Greenup Counties and is comprised of officers from the Olive Hill Police Dept, Russell Police Dept, Raceland Police Dept, and the Carter County Sheriffs Office. The F.A.D.E Drug Task Force would like to thank the citizens of their communities for helping them combat this war on drugs.
