Herman Dale Ball, II
Herman Dale Ball II, 67 of Lucasville died Thursday, August 9, 2018 at SOMC Hospice. He was born July 16, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Herman and Alice Ball who survives.
He was the owner of Herman’s House of Carpet, an entrepreneur, photographer at Cannon’s Portrait Studio, and operated Cannon’s Tuxedo and Bridal. He enjoyed having some cold ones and conversations among friends and family, fishing, BBQing, “life itself.” He enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was also a member of the First Church of God in New Boston.
Along with his mother, Herman is survived by his wife; Deborah Ball who he married August 7, 1970, 2 daughters; Tracee (Matt) Howell of W. Portsmouth and Crystal Ball of Shelby, 2 sons; Herman Ball III of Wheelersburg and Cannon Ball of Lucasville, Ohio, 13 grandchildren; Mason, Morgan, and Maelynn Howell, Herman IV, Brianna, Remington, Ryder, and Hunter Ball, Aiden and Zane Ball, Anakin Buckler, Eerie & Grimm Blankenship, 3 sisters; Margaret (Bill) Lewis of West Portsmouth, Evelyn (Keith) Sparks of Wheelersburg, and Vina ( Larry ) Risner of Versailles, Kentucky, and a brother; Danny (Reeca) Ball of Wheelersburg.
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Monday, August 13, 2018 at First Church of God in New Boston with Pastor Donnie McKenzie officiating and interment in Memorial Burial Park.
