2018 Scioto County Fair Schedule of Events

The 2018 Scioto County Fair kicks off on Monday, August 6th. Gates open at 10AM Monday, and 8AM from Tuesday through Saturday.

Admission to the fair is just $10 and includes all grandstand shows, rides, and health testing. Active Duty Service men and women get in free of charge.

The Scioto County Fair is renowned for its selection of delicious fair food, great entertainment, 4-H events, carnival rides and games, and exhibits. The following schedule is for grandstand events: Buckin B Cattle Company Professional Bull Riding and Barrel Racing (Monday 8PM), Cavalcade of Thrills Demolition Derby (Tuesday 8PM), Parmalee (Wednesday 8PM), Circus Continental (Thursday 2PM and 8PM), Tracy Lawrence (Friday 8PM), and the demolition derby (Saturday 8PM).

Parmalee is a country music band consisting of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas, cousin Barry Knox, and long time family friend Josh McSwain. They are best known for hits ‘Musta Had a Good Time’, ‘Carolina’, ‘Close Your Eyes’, and ‘Already Callin’ You Mine.’

Tracy Lawrence is a country music icon who has had more than forty singles on the Billboard country music charts. His best known songs include ‘Sticks and Stones’, ‘Alibis’, ‘Can’t Break It to My Heart’, ‘My Second Home’, ‘If the Good Die Young’, ‘Texas Tornado’, ‘Time Marches On’, and ‘Find out Who Your Friends Are’.

Performances will also be held at the showcase tent located between the antiques building and the commercial building on the west side of the fairgrounds. The schedule includes The Riffitt Family with special Guest Bobby Blanton (Monday), Imani Miele Choir (Tuesday), Diamond Ridge Bluegrass (Wednesday), Frank Grasso (Thursday), Second Chance (Friday), Intercession for Imposters (Saturday).
