Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini announces that his 911 center received a call on July 2, 2018 at 6:42 pm from a female who lives on Skull Hollow South Webster Ohio stating that a male subject came running into her house pointing a gun at her telling her to get on the floor and was demanding money. The female stated that he started sexually assaulted her when her juvenile daughter heard the commotion and came down the hallway that is when the suspect shot at her daughter down the hallway before fleeing the area on the pictured Honda Forman 4 wheeler that he stole from this residence.
Captain John W. Murphy stated that deputy’s along with detectives responded to this location where a report was taken, during this investigation detectives learned that the male suspect was described as being bald with some facial hair with several tattoos on his body. The male was wearing a backpack dark in color on his back and had a mask or bandanna attempting to cover his face, the male had multiple tattoos all over his body. Detectives had received information that the male suspect had been seen around the hardware store in South Webster on the 4-wheeler. The female victim was transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center by ambulance where she was treated and released.
Captain John W. Murphy further stated that detectives have been working nonstop on this case talking to several witnesses that seen the male in the area on the 4-wheeler. Evidence was collected at the scene and has been submitted to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation for processing.
