Josephine Myers

Josephine Myers, 80, formerly of Circleville and Florida, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026 at SOMC in Portsmouth.

She was born December 26, 1945 in Circleville, a daughter of the late Charlie and Ollie Speakman Hiles. Josephine was a former factory worker at Mitchellace and had worked at various restaurants including Giovannis in Lucasville. She was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Hiles, and a sister, Lula Belle Crabtree.

Josephine is survived by her sons, Bill (Vanessa) Hiles of McDermott, Ronald (Linda) McGraw of McDermott, and Joseph McGraw of Utah; a daughter, Karen (Rodney) Best of Utah; a brother, Jerry Hiles of McDermott; two sisters, Mary Crabtree of Lucasville, and Penny Shelpman of Lucasville; 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Scioto Burial Park, with Alvin Breech officiating. Those planning to attend should arrive at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville to line up for the procession to the cemetery no later than 10:45 on Thursday, August 12, 2026.
