Phyllis Miller Roberts
Phyllis Miller Roberts, 98, of South Shore, KY, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026 at her residence.
She was born December 1, 1927 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Henry and Martha Howerton Reinhardt.
Phyllis was a 1945 Clay High School graduate; a PIBC graduate; and retired Administrator from Portsmouth Metropolitan Housing Authority. She was a member of Allen Chapel Church of Christ.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Roberts; her brother, John Reinhardt; and two sisters, June Bartlett and Katherine Buckle.
Phyllis is survived by her son, Kurt (Diann) Jones of Lucasville; grandchildren, Julia (Todd) Warnock of Portsmouth, and Christopher (Dawn) Jones of Delaware, OH; three great-grandchildren; Jensen and Jaelyn Warnock and Jada Jones; nieces and nephews; and special nephew, Jay Buckle.
The family would like to give a very special thanks to Tim and Jessie Carter, who were always there for her. In addition, the family would like to express their gratitude to her special caregiver, Tammy Brumfield, and the nurses with Professional Case Management and Community Hospice.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Kenneth Estep officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call 11 a.m. until the funeral hour.
