Tammy Lou Musick-Brannan

Tammy Lou Musick-Brannan, 66, of McDermott, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026 at SOMC Hospice.

She was born July 18, 1959 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late David Eugene and Doris Jean McCorkle Easter. Tammy was a Portsmouth West High School graduate who worked many years at Samuel Levi Furniture in Portsmouth and at Edgewood Manor in Lucasville. She was a Christian who enjoyed Bible studies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David “Bo” Easter.

Tammy is survived by her husband, James “Roger” Brannan, who she married on September 28, 2007; six daughters, Shannon (Ray) Scott of Stout, Lori Grooms of Portsmouth, Misty (Randy) Carver of West Portsmouth, Elaina (Mike) Hagler of Wheelersburg, Kim (Alex) Lewis of McDermott, and Mariah Brannan of McDermott; a son, Matt (Casey) Brannan of Lucasville; three special granddaughters whom she raised, Courtney Bradford, Hannah Bradford, and Haven Penix; two brothers, Jerry (Randi) Easter of South Shore and Terry Easter of Portsmouth; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home.
