Bonnie Sue Shepherd

Bonnie Sue Shepherd, 82, passed away on January 30, 2026. Bonnie was born on July 28, 1943, in Pikeville, Kentucky. Bonnie graduated with a Graduate Equivalence Degree. She worked as a cafeteria manager for Washington Nile Schools. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portsmouth. She is survived by her three children, Josh (Crystal) Shepherd and Tammie (John Rawlins) both of West Portsmouth and Brian (Angie) Shepherd of Wheelersburg, one brother, Curtis (Carol) Adkins of McDermott, one sister Joyce Galloway of West Portsmouth, eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Danny “Keith” Lee Shepherd, her parents, Arthur and Amby (Nee Allen) Adkins, two sons Nathaniel and Daniel Shepherd, one daughter Allisa Dawn Shepherd, one angel baby, two brothers, Charles and James Adkins and one sister, Kathleen Terry.  Memorial services were held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 under the direction of FC Daehler Mortuary in Portsmouth.
