Marcella Ann Webb

Marcella Ann Webb, 79 of Portsmouth, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at SOMC Hospice.  She was born on February 20, 1946 in Portsmouth to the late James Edward Spencer and Goldie Cline Spencer.  On September 28, 1963 she was united in marriage to Larry Neil Webb who preceded her in death on June 5, 2007.  Surviving are her daughter; Lavetta Webb Shreve of Portsmouth; granchildren, Amanda Anderson of Otway, Ashley (Cory) Colley of Otway, Derek (Brandi) Dalton of Piketon, Megan (Devin) Adkins of Otway, Kyle (Savanna) Canter of Stockdale and Corey Canter of Minford; great grandchildren, Gavin, Landon, McKenzie, Schealyn, Jase, Liam, Luke, Koa, Dae’Lamar, Landon and Tyson; grandchildren in love, Brystin and Aryssa; son-in-law, Mark Canter of Minford and her lifelong friend Jenny Piatt of McDermott.  In addition to her husband and parents, Marcella was preceded in death by her daughter; Beverly Ann Webb Canter and her grandson; Anthony Dewayne Whitinger.

Marcella volunteered for Community Action Bingo in Portsmouth for the past 13 years and prior to that she worked at Bob Evans.  She loved her family and always told them “Love you more.”

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday December 17, 2025 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.  Burial will follow in Garvin Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
