Heather Reese

Heather Reese, age 39, of South Webster, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center in Columbus. She was born September 5, 1986, in Portsmouth.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandson. She always enjoyed going to watch her son play sports when he was in school and she loved her dogs very much.

Heather is survived by her mother, Tammy Woodruff of South Webster; a son, Aaron Taylor of North Carolina; a daughter, Haylee Reese of South Webster; a sister Brandy Woodruff of Wheelersburg; grandson Waylon Reese; stepfather, Bryan Woodruff of Oak Hill; grandparents, James and Wanda Taulbee of Wheelersburg and James and Wanda Fraley of West Portsmouth; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins along with a special uncle Donnie Adkins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ricky Reese, a brother Seth Reese; grandparents Jerry and Zolene McGlone.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 Noon to 2 PM Wednesday prior to service.
