Wanda Belle Setty

Wanda Belle Setty, 82 of Otway, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 in Peebles at her granddaughter’s residence. She was born on December 9, 1941 in Adams County to the late Chester Benjamin Setty and Wavey Moore Setty. Surviving are her children: Carmelia (Rick) Ross of Otway and James (Miriam Levi) Crum, Jr. of West Union; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Vivian Walker of Ocala, Florida. In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her children; Bonnie Sue Collins and David Collins Setty and siblings; Donald Ray Setty, Jackie Setty, Linda Ode Setty and Mildred Yvonne Isaac.

Wanda loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren, Melissa (Robert) Briggs, Mariah (Brandon) Stephenson and Jacob Stephenson especially loved their mawmaw staying by her side tending to her needs until her passing.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Ricky Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Setty-Ode Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
