Kenneth Wayne Martin

Kenneth Wayne Martin, 74, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Forest Hill Nursing Home.

He was born January 9, 1952 in Dayton, a son of the late Sherman and Goldie Frazie Martin. Kenneth was a 1970 Valley High School graduate and a proud US Marine Corps veteran. Kenneth was a hard working man who always made time for his boys. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and Richard Martin.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Marietta Scott Martin, who he married on May 15, 1971 in Vanceburg, Kentucky; two sons, Joseph Martin of Newark, Ohio, and Jeremy (Sara Rubin) Martin of Columbus; a sister, Elaine Margaret Martin of Portsmouth; and two grandchildren, Samantha Martin and Joshua Martin.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace, with Dave Frazie officiating, and military graveside services by the William Baker and James Irwin posts, American Legion. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
