Daniel Ray Bush

Daniel Ray Bush, 68, of McDermott, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at SOMC Hospice.

He was born November 16, 1954 in Ashland, KY, a son of Charles Bush of Grabill, IN and his mothers, the late Betty Bolt and Phillis Bush who raised him.

Dan was a former truck driver and Laborer for Harts Sanitation in Catlettsburg, KY and was a East Side High School graduate in Butler, IN.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Tim and Ernie Neal; and one sister, Jeanette Scarberry.

Dan is also survived by his daughter, April (Nicholas) Crabtree of McDermott; and his son, Danny Bush of Whittier, CA; seven grandchildren, Shane (Carrie) Bush, Jasmine Meadows, Shawnte (Darryl) Meadows, Jared Breech, Jakob Bush, Mason Breech, and Aubrey Bush; two brothers, Charles Bush of Butler, IN and Steve Neal of Franklin Furnace; three sisters, Sue Bush of South Africa, Tammy Shoemaker of Ashland, KY, and Sherry Jones of Grabill, IN.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:30 am until 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
