Sharon Studenka Keipper
Sharon Studenka Keipper, 77, formerly of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed peacefully on October 29, 2023 in Cincinnati Ohio.
She was born on October 28, 1946 to the late Paul and Mary Keipper.
Sharon is survived by her children Angie Studenka Dodd, Jeff(Kim) Studenka and Dave(Jen) Studenka, and former son-in-law Tom Dodd as well as grandchildren, Maggie, Claire, Beth, Olivia, Ben, Jacob and Cole, and step-children Matt, Nick Maria.
Sharon is survived by her large Keipper family, sisters Susie Keipper and Debbie Doll, brothers Phil(the late Yen) Keipper, Paul (Tammy) Keipper, Jamie (Linda) Keipper, Matt(Kathy) Keipper as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Sharon is survived by a prior husband Daryl Baugh and preceded in death by her first husband John Studenka.
Sharon and John started dating at age 14 and graduated from Holy Redeemer Elementary and Notre Dame High School in Portsmouth Ohio. They then moved to Cincinnati where John went onto graduate from the University of Cincinnati while Sharon taught at St George’s Catholic School located next to the college. They were married for almost 30 years.
Sharon devoted her entire life to raising their children, and later being the best Grammy Sharon, Nana Sharon and Mio. She will be remembered as a beloved and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Sister, and Friend to all those who knew her. Her infectious smile and warm personality made everyone feel welcome and loved, and she deeply cherished all time spent with friends and family and the conversations she had with all.
At the twilight of their lives, John returned to Cincinnati and they reunited, eventually living across the hall from one another in the same long term care facility.
Grace, hope, and love were always found among the laughter, joy, and smiles when family members were together, once again.
A Catholic Mass will be held at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church 331 East 2nd Delphos Ohio November 11, 2023 1pm, with a visitation starting at the church at 12pm.
There will then be a burial procession after Mass to Woodlawn Union Cemetery Van Wert Ohio where Sharon will finally join her beloved parents and John.
A day at Oscar’s is planned over Afternoon Tea and Pastries to reminisce and celebrate the loving memories of Sharon’s life, dear friends and family are invited

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of Cincinnati.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Melcher Hammer Funeral Home, Portsmouth Ohio.
