Shirley Louise Horn

Shirley Louise Horn, 83, of Wheelersburg, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Hillview Retirement Center in Portsmouth, OH. Shirley was born February 14, 1940 in Scioto County to the late Charles Samuel Parsons and Evelyn Burton Parsons. Shirley had been employed as a Ward Clerk at SOMC and she was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her siblings, Edwin Parsons, Bill Parsons, Clara Mae Parsons, Mary McLean, Sara Williams, Gertrude Schumway and Bonnie Staten. Shirley is survived by her husband, Richard Horn, whom she married December 10, 1966 in Portsmouth.

Services for Shirley will be 1:00 pm Monday, October 9, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
