Ronnie Lee Adkins

Ronnie Lee Adkins, 79, of Lucasville, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

He was born January 3, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio a son of the late Lloyd and Gladys Phipps Adkins.

Ron was a retired Boilermaker out of Union Local #105 and of the Missionary Baptist Faith.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Michael Adkins; three sisters, Judy Stevens, Alice Adkins, and Debbie Bradshaw.

Ron is survived by his wife, Rita Ross Adkins whom he married February 26, 1967 in Stockdale, OH; three daughters, Brenda (Rod) Gregory of Lucasville, Diana Sanders and John Barrett of New Boston, Rhonda (Travis) Richendollar of Lucasville; three sons, Jeffrey Adkins of Dayton, Rodney Adkins of Miamisburg, and Matthew (Jennifer) Adkins of Lucasville; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Wanda (Gene) Elliott of Lucasville.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2023 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville. Graveside services will follow in Scioto Burial Park in McDermott with Phil Howard officiating.
